Last nights shave Razor - Gillette No21 Gold Blade - 7oclock black label Brush - everready Soap - lemomelon Post - witch hazel lavender A/S - Florida Water The shave last night was rough!! This combo was a bad one. I thought it was the blade at first but when I placed it in my black beauty on setting 5 it shaved smooth . Putting it back into the No21 and it was like shaving with broken glass. I couldn’t see any issues with the razor or the blade .
SOTD January 10th Schick E2 Prototype Schick Proline B-20 JR #134 (Frigate Class 24mm) Jeeves Of Hudson Street 'Bay Rum' Nivea sensitive PSB Second shave on the E2 and Proline was really rough. This may be too much blade for this razor or I may have let the angle waiver too much. The Jeeves turned into an amazingly slick super goop with the help of my Jayaruh #134. Lots of hot spots after the shave so I went with some Nivea Sensitive to cool them down. Have a great day my friends!
Pre: Warm water face wash Brush: EJ Medium BB Soap: Speick Stick Razor: Gibbs No.15 (on loan) Blade: Astra SP Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Dove PSB It's with a heavy heart I send this great little razor on its travels. The Speick soap performance was as good as usual and the Gibbs revelled in having such a good medium to work in. A DFS in two very smooth passes, like I said a great little razor. Too many Bowie songs to choose from... A bit of deadpan humour... The position "Rock God" has been vacant for a year.
A somewhat unconventional SOTD . I had my Nivea cream ready to go in shower. I bought this new bar soap to try. It lathers so well I took the brush to it . I have shaved with bar soap before but this one is the best I ever used. Gillette Guard razor first use. Great shave . Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
That's the nice thing about this hobby. There is no shortage of great soaps. No need to mess with something that causes irritation.

Schick Krona Razor Rapira Super Stainless Blade Jayaruh #236/30mm Tuxedo Brush Love My Skin Beau Brummel Cybilla Soap Dickinson's Witch Hazel Lucky Tiger Aspen After Shave Liz Claiborne Bora Bora Exotic Cologne Don't know why, but I've been neglecting the Krona for a while now. It's a great razor to use for beginners and experienced shavers alike. Just me personally, it would be nice if they made a metal and a bit shorter handle version of it. But, after doing two passes with a bit of touch up, I had a very smooth and comfortable BBS shave. The cologne was given to me because it caused some irritation for a friend. It's a light, kind of musky and spicy scent and I think would be good for everyday casual use.
Just want to say, thanks for introducing me to the Bolzano blades. They work great in my '48-'50 Aristocrat and Fatboy. Sharp and very smooth.
