Williams Wednesday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Williams B-400 by Tom Heljestrand Henckels Wedge CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Pinaud Vanilla I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the B-400 badger brush. I did two passes with the Heljestrand Razor with a Henckels wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Vanilla AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... I have forgotten to mention that these blades are also noisy. It sounds like buttering toast. After cleaning, I did ten cycles on each of the sharpening sides and twenty-five on the strop side of the Allegro. It doesn't take long to maintain the blade.
Thank you Doug. The new brush is breaking in nicely and is getting better with each use. I really like the handle. It feels as nice as some of my custom brush handles.
Thank you ! Well of course always room for one more. That does it. I have been on the fence. You have made up my mind. I will hunt one of these up. Awesome! Sounds like a solid Williams Wednesday shave! Thank you. None of them will win a beauty contest but all are great shaving razors. Williams and a wedge... Sounds like a great mix. I wonder if they wedge needs sharping after ever use. I am hoping once I get my wedge blades honed that the strop will keep them shaving awhile.

SOTD January 10th Schick E2 Prototype Schick Proline B-20 JR #134 (Frigate Class 24mm) Jeeves Of Hudson Street 'Bay Rum' Nivea sensitive PSB Second shave on the E2 and Proline was really rough. This may be too much blade for this razor or I may have let the angle waiver too much. The Jeeves turned into an amazingly slick super goop with the help of my Jayaruh #134. Lots of hot spots after the shave so I went with some Nivea Sensitive to cool them down. Have a great day my friends!
So what would you guys consider to be a good price for these? I can get these, and if I sold them through Paypal friends and family (no fees) and keep a very, very slim profit margin on them I could probably sell them for $20 + shipping. If i had to list them on Etsy the sellers fees and listing fees would drive the price up and you would really only be saving a couple dollars over the ebay listings.
I might buy a magazine at $20 but use them sparsely. That's a hefty price overall but for us injector junkies it might be worth it.
I've rethought my feelings on molesting the Williams.... "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!!" Hold me back, hold me back!!!
Based on the going price for these blades on eBay, I would consider $20 plus shipping to be a good deal.

I got a new toy. A B-400 by Tom. It was awesome today with the Williams Wednesday shave. The 1910 Junior Bar worked great with a new CVS blade.
1-10-18 Colonial General/Schick P30 (2) B&M reserve classic soap and AS samples Semogue 830 boar Great maiden voyage with the general, 2 passes left me smooth and comfortable. The reserve classic performance was typical B&M greatness, didn't care for the scent much though. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Ahhh man....you and I where on the same kind of wave length, today.....I used that ER Lather Catcher you gave me with a new CVS blade, Williams, a big splash of Aqua Velva Ice Blue and a 1/2 splash of AV Musk (just cause the wife loves it so much };^)) I hope you enjoyed your shave, 1/2 as much as I dug mine... That B-400 by Tom looks like a trophy...kinda like when you see a pic of some actor and his 'Oscar' is on a shelf behind him, and of course the Oscar photo-bombs the whole interview...lol!
