Thursday 11th January Olive Oil Soap and RSC Facial Scrub Proraso Sensitive Preshave Cream Groomed Shave Cream Kent Infinity Synthetic Brush Kai Captain Excelia (Japanese Style) Razor with a Proline-P Alum Block and Rinse Groomed ASB Yardley Citrus & Wood I started work really early yesterday and finished at Lunchtime. Because of Tuesday's shave I was passable and was too busy when I returned home.....so today I had 2 days growth to dispose of. The first pass could have been enough....the second one left me BBS
Man Klar is some great soap. So underrated (not talked about nearly enough). Shaved with it on Wednesday morning and it was superb.

Last night's SOTD. I tried a number of products for the first time and have done a very brief review on each. ATT Calypso M1: This 7075 Aluminium razor is significantly lighter and much smoother than the Stainless Steel M1 I used to own. The fit and finish is also second to none. It's a great razor. Black Ship Grooming Ghost Ship: As with all Black Ship soaps this performs excellently. I'm not 100% sure about the scent though. Vanilla, Sandalwood and Grapefruit makes for a very interesting combination. Fitjar Slatteroy AS Balm: Great balm, great scent. Nuff said. Bulldog Pre-Shave Oil: I was surprised at the performance of this oil. It partially absorbs into the skin and the scent, whilst not particularly pleasant, wasn't too bad. It's the best performing product I've used in the Bulldog line so far and I'd give it a score of 7/10. Faena Beard Oil: I used this on my goatee and was pleasantly surprised at the scent. The ingredients include castor oil, almond oil, grapeseed oil and vitamin E. The website states that the scent is amber and bergamot and I must admit that I've never smelt a beard or shave oil quite like it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Such a great shave just before. The Gin+Tonic on the Rocks exploded with awesome lather and its lovely lemony/lime scent was ever present. The menthol effect felt fabulous during both passes and the post-shave feel was wonderful. The Lucky Tiger balm and the Rubby Dubby Doo were such a nice finish! Have a super-duper day!
The would say it is a lot like a Omega 49 but more compact and dense. The knot seems to be breaking in much quicker and is already softer than my other Omega knot.
