11 January 2018 Had to abandon the Voskhod after 3 shaves. Very rough in the slant. As I recall, they worked fine in my trusty EJ DE87. The EJ is my travel razor now and I'll have to try a Voskhod in it again to make sure. Anyway, this morning's shave yielded a 2 pass, minor touch-up BBS shave topped off with a RR splash that's really growing on me. Soap: RazoRock Tuscan Oud Brush: Omega 10086 Razor: RazoRock German 37 slant Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium (1) Aftershave: RazoRock "The Stallion"
As I have said before , I really like my ebony sumo. It's a beautiful brush/handle, but cleaning the soap residue from the crevice is awkward.
