  1. Really fine photo, Clint! I also loved your characterization of a "smoking farewell" for the dryer. Perfect imagery as I can see that happening clearly. Hope your Friday is a good one.
  2. The Fat! I got about 65 shaves out of my first puck of Fat. I'm over 20 shaves into this current puck and I think it's lasting longer. Great photo and report.
  3. Good picture Perry. I like this aftershave.
Linuxguile, Drygulch, clint64 and 3 others like this.
  4. Thank you, Doug! American Blend is my favorite aftershave. I really like the scent.
  5. Thank you, Perry!
  6. Terrific picture, Perry! The G Bar looks great.
  7. Thanks, Jim! It's a terrific razor.
  8. Thank you, Fuzzy! Videos are well-done. My expert eye tells me these were not altered or manipulated in any way.
  9. None at all. I really do look like a young John Wayne...
  10. Oh yeah... I noticed the resemblance right away. :p I didn’t want to say anything because some people are shy about fame. :D
  11. Mighty nice of ya....
  12. It’s nice to find a shave system of products that gives consistent results.

    Very nice razor!

Man! You’re my hero if you’re brave enough to shave your head with a shavette.

Good picture and shave, Clint. Too bad about the dryer.

    Another cool picture,Jim!

Good stuff, Perry. Have a great day!
  13. Vanilla and Tobacco flower are two very different scents. I like Tobacco flower, and can't stand vanilla. If seen it blended with vanilla, but haven't liked the ones I have smelled.
  14. I wish I had something profound to say, you may move to a new house but the memories will be with you forever. Good luck on the new chapter in your life.
  15. Is that like a smoking line drive?

4th day with the GEM. Another smooth, routine shave this morning. Sounds boring, but there really is nothing else to say, as there has been very little variance in performance in these 4 shaves.
This was the first use of the Latha soap, which came via a trade awhile ago. While it is called Sandalwood, the scent of Currants is most prominent to me. As others have stated, the scent is nowhere near as complex as B&M’s reserve base offerings. I face-lathered a nice batch, and my face feels nice afterwards. The Booster is a fine finish if you don’t want or need a long-lasting scent.
    Have a great day all!
