I'd like to change towels after every shower, but old lady aberneth starts swearing if the towel hamper fills up more than twice a month. So it's 3-4 showers per towel for me.
If your towel is hanging close to your toilet in the bathroom, I'd strongly recommend that you change towels at least twice a week!
Depends on if I forget to hang it up it is one a shower. If I hang it up it is 2 to 3. Now that the hot weather is here it is three showers a day since my shop has no A/C. And hanging them up. They only get used twice.
I like the warm air . Haha I actually need to wash my towel set. I find it matters if not too bad change it about once a week. If it end up shower lots because of weather/work i end up changing it more.
I perfer a clean towel daily with my daily shower. I can not see after washing drying with a day old towel. just my thoughts.
For me, it depends on which towel I'm using (I only use 2 towels) If I'm using my cotton towel, it goes to the wash after about a week of use, however if I'm using my hemp towel, I can use it 3 weeks without any funky smells developing... Hemp just doesn't allow any of the "funky smelling" bacteria to grow like cotton can. In practice, it gets washed after about 2 weeks. Not over-washing a towel keeps it nice longer... My hemp towel is about 12 years old now... and for about 10 of those 12 years it was my *only* towel I used... and it's got another 20 years of life left in it, at least! (It's a bit discolored now, because 4 or 5 years ago my (ex) wife threw it in with all the other towels and a pair of jeans when she did the laundry once...)
I shower twice a day in the summer, so it doesn't give the towel a chance to dry. In the winter I cut back to once a day and tend to use the same towl for 2-3 days or as long as it smells fresh.
