Today used a Schick G8, which is not one of my favoured Injectors as in the past I have found it to be rather harsh in comparison with others. Fitted with a Proline blade I found it to work better but still not as smooth as other Razors using the same blade. I was quite pleased with the ease of Shave , but honestly the overall quality of finish
lags behind that I can attain with other Injectors, but I do have a strong beard growth.

  2. I have a G8 that feels like my E2. I can not tell the shaves apart really. Light years different then my G1.

    Proraso Pre Shave
    Williams Mug Shave Soap
    JR#206 2-band Badger
    Schick H (the Hussy)
    Schick Twin
    CWR
    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Vegetal

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face-lathered well with the JR #206 2-band Badger brush. I did two passes with the Schick H Razor with a Schick Twin blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The Hussy is delivering BBS shaves in just two passes. I got the Williams down just right and it rinses very easily. Awesome shave today.

  5. That looks like a G1 in the picture, not a G8. The G8 has the plastic handle with the Googie-inspired accents.

I love the G8, but find the G1 too harsh for me personally.
