Day, Night or Both?

When do you shave and why?

 

It varies depending on if I work day or night shift. I shave before work.

 

I prefer to shave at night. I don't sleep well, so I'm usually up most of each night anyway. Besides that I like the solitude of two or three am. I can take my time and enjoy my shave.

 

Usually morning, but I switch it up sometimes.

 

Varies for me as well, i work swing shifts so sometimes i'll be shaving at 4:30am, sometimes at 3pm-4pm

 

During the week, I shave at night. As I get good and smelly at work.

On the weekends is a toss up. Morning or night.

During the week, it's at night roght after my shower as I'm usually filthy.
However on Sunday, since I'm off, I'll usually shower and shave that morning.
I tried getting up earlier to shave, but I like sleep just a bit more than shaving.... not by much though.

 

During the week, in the evening; I don't like to rush my shave or take time from having breakfast with my wife. Sundays in the morning; with church service at 11:30, there's lots of time for breakfast and a shave.

 

Both. Usually day for head and night for face.

 

Since my back injury keeps me from falling asleep easily, I tend to fall asleep around 4-5 am. I usually get up around 10-11 am, yeah I don't sleep much, and will shave after a couple cups of coffee. Sometimes early afternoon, depending on how I feel. Night time once in a while.

 

When the mood strikes. Shaving is like comfort foods; many wonderful choices but only one perfect for that moment.

 

Both depending on what is going on the next day. I prefer shaving in the morning after I shower.

Wakes me up, starts my day on a good note.
As for time--I have the alarm set for 4:30. No hitting the snooze; I get up. Out the door for work at 6:50. I hate to rush, so I don't.

 

Both, depends on how grimy I am at the end of the day. If I want a good clean up before bed I'll shave too. Sometimes I just want to sleep a little bit later so I shave the night before. Otherwise I will shave in the morning before work.

 

In the morning, because I take a shower before going to work. My beard needs to be well hydrated before a shave, so I find a shower necessary for a good shave result.

 

Face in the morning, scalp in the afternoon or evening. Morning is before work and scalp is more like when I have time.

 

Always in the morning. I have to look good for work.

 

Almost always at night, except on my days off.

 

Since I am retired, I shave first thing in the morning. That way I look great all day. When I was working, I would shave at night to avoid the rush in the morning.
