I know, I know....it's not the greatest restaurant in the world. The food is not 4 star but it's decent and inexpensive. I would say cheap but that's not the right word either.

Anyway, the one I frequent has friendly people, great service and I like it. Always a good time when I go there.

On a cold day there's nothing like a hot waffle with bacon I think

For those that don't have one nearby, sorry for you. Everyone should experience one of these great little place

    Just my opinion of course

I lived in the Atlanta area for twenty years. It's the headquarters for Waffle House. There's one on almost every corner, and two in between some where on the block.
Scattered, smothered, covered, and diced, double please!

What do you mean it's not the greatest restaurant in the world? Friends don't let friends eat pancakes. I love Waffle House. Scattered, Smothered, Covered, Chunked, Topped & Diced is the way I like my hashbrowns.

Jim, we’d get along real well. I order my hash browns the same way minus the onions (smothered). I love Waffle House, too!

Cheese 'N Eggs and a pecan waffle is a mighty fine meal any time!

The closest one to me is 650 miles. Ate at one once in MO about ten years ago. It wasn’t a very good meal. I guess I have just passed them by since.

I wouldn't say it's cheap unless you call $12+ for breakfast cheap, that's how much mine was last time

Good food after a night of indulging, but as the old joke goes: What has 6 legs and 7 teeth? The night shift at Waffle House.

It's not Gourmet, hardly better than home cooking. The upside is a group can get burgers, steaks, eggs cooked any which way, a salad, coffee, Coca-cola, and waffles at any hour of the day or night. Imagine the mess in you kitchen if a bunch of inebriated hungry folks started cooking. Tip your waitress ;)

When I was younger there was nothing better than Waffle House after you've had a beer or ten, :happy102:. Eggs sunny side up or over easy, buttered toast to sop the egg up, bacon crisp, grits , ham or both, tomato juice, milk, or coffee. :eatdrink020: Man.....I'm hungry!
