  4. Thanks, Andrew! I’m glad I tried them again AND that they worked quite well.
  5. So I just picked up a Gem G razor. It’s going to take some practice lol. What is a good starting point for an injector razor? I mean brand/style. I’m not looking to spend over 25. I seem to like old razors when it comes to DE shaving

  6. Welcome, James! I have a couple extra Schick injectors, an L and a J. Both are pretty mild and a good intro. Pm me if interested and I'll make you a deal.

  7. Awesome! The L is great to start with!!
  8. The G bar or Heavy Flat Top is very easy. Use the head more or less flat on your face to find the angle. You will probably not have to lift it much.
  9. Ah,
Thanks I was holding it more like a DE

  10. The Gbar..featherweight..pushbutton..
1912. Really almost all the SE razors are easy to find the angle by using the cap.
Here is how I do it.
  11. Thursday Night Shave
    [IMG]
    Razor: ER 1909
    Blade: Gem Carbon (5)
    Brush: @GarnerPW XV Horse hair
    Soap: Williams
    AS: Stetson

Used my favorite SE tonight. This is an aggressive razor. Handle it with care and it gives effortless DFS / BBS shaves.

Tonight was my first time using a real Horse hair brush. Man does it stink. Need to defunkify it. Other than the smell it lathered nicely. It does need a bit more soap than I normally load. It is nice and soft with decent backbone. I think I will like this brush.

Ken. Thanks for the brush. NICE work.

I will definitely add more Horse hair to my brush collection.

I think I still smell it over my AS
