This is the best summary of management meetings I have ever read. The other plus side is having to make up all the work you missed while you were at the meeting when you get back to the office.

I'm still dealing for a new barber pole brush.

Clove is used a lot as a description of Bay Rum, but the Bay Rum is based on the Pimenta Racemosa plant, which to some people get a clove scent. A lot of them don't have clove, but some people still get a clove scent. Bay Rum is one of those scents I want to love, but some blends I just don't like. The only way to find the ones I like is to try them.
    Yes. It sounds awesome.

The way see that is that if someone who just yelled at me asks me to participate in a group hug including that person, the positive emotion of the hug would be gone, so I hope in your case it isn't "both".

Personally, I find the mediocre lunch buffet to be the most part. The catch up work is just a cherry on top.

Went with the same setup as yesterday in an attempt to dial this soap in a little better. Changed up the brush, but stayed with a boar. I slowly put a ridiculous amount of water into this soap. I took it just to the breaking point, and maybe a little past. It held up, though. The slickness was improved, but not to where I like it in my soaps. Everything else was fine, it had a nice face feel après shave and there was no irritation afterwards either. I don't know if this is one of the 'TFS' Razorocks or not, but if it is, it is different that the TFS soaps I have used. It is also a tallow soap, which the TFS soaps I've used are not. I got more of the scent today. I have no idea how to describe it, but it isn't unpleasant.
The biggest issue with this shave was the brush. This used to be my only boar until I repurposed an Omega '49. The Omega is worlds apart from this knot. I've commented before that this knot just doesn't have enough loft. I thought I'd give it one more chance, but after this morning, have firmly decided to yank it out. I have a 24mm Omega in its handle that I bought on sale in the fall that I will extract and put in here. This is one of my favourite handles, though.
    Have a great day all!

Great photo Jason. Omega boar knots are fantastic. They are just let down by handles that as nice as the knots. Lucky that is not a problem for you.

Great looking set up, Jason. Too bad the knot isn't working out for you, but sounds like you have a good plan to replace.

Rapria PL & Fatip for the win! I know the PL is your favorite, Neal. But it sure is one of mine!
Excellent photo, Perry! Here's to next week and hopefully returning to some normalcy!
It is a beautiful brush and razor, Clint! That TGN knot looks more like a silver tip then a finest.
Awesome photo, Jim! I'm glad that you had a great shave to start the day off right!
    Amazing photo, Mark!
Nice photo Jason! I'm sure the new knot will serve you well!

Another fabulous shave out of the Ming Shi/ Treet combo. This razor really works well for me, and what a steal for only $10. The Amici soap base is very minimalistic being a coconut oil and stearic acid soap with no other goodies. Nothing to make the lather extra creamy and slick and nothing to make your face feel hydrated and smooth. But the price per ounce is somewhere in the Arko range and the scent is fantastic! 3 passes with a light and somewhat airy lather produced a BBS shave with no irritation. I guess in the grand scheme of things there's nothing really to complain about given the results. Have a great weekend my friends!

Thank you Andrew. It does look more like Silvertip now that you say that. It could be that I could only set it 10mm deep.
