20 January 2018 Cream: Derby Lavender Brush: Omega S10065 synthetic Bowl: Dollar Tree salsa Razor: RazoRock German 37 slant Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium (10) Aftershave: Pinaud Secial Reserve Alas, all good things must come to an end. Although the Polsilver is still yielding great shaves, due to my rigid rotation schedule (self induced insanity to be sure), for tomorrow's shave I'll be switching razor duties over to my Fatip Grande loaded with a Personna red blade. I'm tempted to carefully dry the Polsilver while cleaning up the slant and re-install for the slant's next turn just to see how many more quality shaves I can achieve. But that would throw my blade use chart out of whack. It's already slightly off as I always change blades after 7 shaves. Guess I'll have to put some "if statements" in my spreadsheet to account for the Polsilver's longevity.
Unconditional Surrender Saturday I'm still learning this razor, but today was a little more comfortable than yesterday. I dialed it down a notch and I could still feel the blade much more than in the Futur. I'm going to dial it down again tomorrow and change the blade just in case it was a dud. I can always dial it up again. Even though the razor is heavy, it is so well balanced that it feels nimble.

Probak and BIC is a very effective combination. I find angle can be a little tricky with the Probak but it's plenty efficient when carefully attended to. Happy with two passes with the very sharp BIC. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Thank you, Rick! I like it. Not quite as much whiskey to my nose as I thought it might have. Definitely some tobacco and woodsy scent. There is also a little soapy scent to it.

Razor - Gillette Goodwill 160 Blade - feather (1) Brush - jayaruh 99 Soap - mystic water - frankincense & myrrh Post - medicated witch hazel A/S - clubman reserve An amazingly smooth shave! This is my first time using this soap and I love it! The scent is super awesome and it was so great! The razor and feather blade went so well together. A month ago I was thinking of trading away my feather blades but now I’m rethinking that and will continue to try them with other combos.
