I prefer the carbon steel over the stainless myself. I would choose the Blue Stars everytime. But of all I had were the Gem SS I would still be a happy shaver.

Mon 22nd Jan Vulfix 404 mixed Vitos Super Red croap Schick N1 Schick Proline [ 5 ] Pitralon Polar A/S lotion My second consecutive Shave with one of the Razors specifically manufactured to be used with a Twin Blade. As Twin blades may be hard to come by, I have embarked on a series of Shaves with them using a more available single blade. However, rather than used a standard Injector blade I have been using the Schick Proline AC blade [ Type B]. To date I have used the N1 five times with this blade, and even though I have a tough beard I have no problem getting great Shaves with this combo. This and the O Clone are delivering some of the best Shaves that I have ever had a with an Injector using a single blade. So guys if you run low on Twins for your Razors, the little Schick AC blade is a good alternative.
Menthol Monday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave TSD Cool Lime JR#217 Synthetic J.A. Henckels Rapide J.A. Henckels wedge CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Pinaud Clubman I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The TSD Cool Lime Stick Shave Soap face-lathered well with the JR #217 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the J.A. Henckels Rapide razor with a J.A. Henckels wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Menthol Monday Shave Haven't used a SE since Xmas. Today I used my PAL adjustable that was recently repaired by Cap'n Murphy at Vintage Razor Repair after my attempts failed to straighten the safety bar. The razor performed flawlessly and resulted in a decent enough shave. I've not used this razor before so I'm just getting used to it. One small weeper, otherwise nice. Question:. Can you use a twin blade in this razor? Herm

Last Night's Shave - 01/21/2018 Great Shave with my new Lady Friend - The Schick Type L - this purple handle was sold as a Lady Razor - I will post directions that came with it tonight.
