Gillette Fat Handle New LC Razor Bic Chrome Platinum Blade Frank Shaving Badger Brush Proraso Green Soap Dickinson's Witch Hazel Aqua Velva After Shave A bit late on my shave, but I had to get my menthol fix today. Two passes with a little touch up for a smooth and comfortable BBS shave.
Today's shave was with an American Made razor. I had a 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Not the prettiest razor in the bunch, but it was a "Rust Bucket" when I got it. It is a fantastic shaving blade. Razor- Suredge Brush- B400, By Tom Soap- Arko/Sandalwood scented Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Flying Cloud Bottle. Mmmmm Mmmmm Good.
Won a PIF on a UK based forum for an Ever Ready Lightweight single edge razor and some Valobra soap (in a vintage travel tube too!) Extremely generous from a top bloke. Unfortunately I forgot about the soap tonight until I was already lathering Tabac, so I've not tried it yet. Three days of growth too. Had to miss a shave yesterday. All in all a good shave - not quite BBS - missed it by a whisker!
Brass General & Feather Pro Super #2 Maggard 30mm B&W Bvlgari Man In Black soap Humphreys Alcoholado Maravilla Nivea 2in1 lotion Dark Obsession by CK edt Really a great shave today. A 2 pass BBS finish with perhaps the best aromatic soap in my den. Intoxicating to be honest. Performance is better than average to good, for me at least. Just a great overall shave and feel with a scent that is as manly as it gets. Have a great evening and shaves Gents....

Hi folks, here's today's SOTD- These pre-war triangle slot Techs are great for touching up after a few days of BBS, or near BBS shaves. I had considerable stubble in a couple places, but most was 5 o'clock shadow type stubble. Today's shave was another good one. A full scale BBS! God Bless, and have a great day! Tabac Tuesday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Tabac JR#217 Synthetic J.A. Henckels Rapide J.A. Henckels wedge CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Pinaud Clubman I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Tabac Shave Soap face-lathered well with the JR #217 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the J.A. Henckels Rapide razor with a J.A. Henckels wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

January 2018 Shavettes and Jeeves January! January 22 - Jeeves Samples Day 5 Razor - 1959 (E4) Gillette Fatboy Blades - (3) Soap - Jeeves of Hudson Street Velvet Jacket Brush - 30DC LE Post - Alum Bagging the sample in the bowl and then putting the bowl over a steaming mug of water brought the Velvet Jacket out of hiding tonight. Thanks to my wife for the hot water suggestion. Very nice tobacco/bay leaf scent with a bit more emphasis on the baby leaf. Enjoyable scent but not directly up my alley. Still, no complaints, and if you like that sort of thing you should really enjoy this soap. The lather was perfect again with the LE brush bringing it to life. Fatboy and Voskhod is a no brainer and the baby is in the house after three full passes. Added the third just because I was enjoying it too much. One more to go starting tomorrow. Forget the name at the moment and it's up in my cabinet. Guess it will be a surprise! Have a great rest of your night and a fantastic Tuesday!

SOTD 1-23-18 WILLIAMS MUG SOAP BURMA SHAVE BRUSH QSHAVE ADJ. SETTING 3 VOSKHOD BLADE 2ND USE THAYERS WITCH HAZEL SPLASH X2 FLORIDA WATER SPLASH NIVEA POST SHAVE BALM My second shave with this razor. I get a great shave with it but I'm not crazy about the weight of it and the slippery handle. No weepers yet but I can see how one could easily slip with wet paws. I did a 2 pass shave WTG and AGT. I can get a good lather with Williams but it dissipates awful. Other than that it was a great shave. Cheers Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
