Adam @Drygulch arranged with the vendor to get samples as Christmas gifts for the participants of the 30 day thread here. I say this because it is my understanding that the scent strength of the samples is not the same as a full tub. The performance of the soap is really very good. I find it to be easy to lather with very good slickness and post shave feel. The Bay Rum scent is very nice and without a lot of the clove scent. I wish the scent strength were more but believe that would be corrected with a full tub.

Wednesday Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath Soap-Baker Street Soap: Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic Razor: Maggard V2 Open Comb Blade: Gillette “7 O’Clock Blue” Super Platinum (Shave #7) Brush: Turtleship Anchor Silvertip-24mmx55mm Aftershave: Stirling Barbershop w/Menthol WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard) Stirling MITA today. 20 seconds to load the Turtleship Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “7 O’Clock Blue” Super Platinum still in the Maggard V2 Open Comb. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Stirling Barbershop aftershave. Bob

The small pucks I sent out for Christmas gifts were actually pulled from full tubs, but they were older tubs he had on hand. I believe his Bay Rum scent is lighter than some of his other scents, even in a full tub. I like the scent. It doesn't have the clove note that some Bay Rum has, but still smells like Bay Rum, if that makes sense.
Perfect description Adam. Much better than mine. I really don't like Bay Rum scents with a lot of clove which makes this one very nice.
