  1. Thank you, Paul and Jason!
  2. I hope to squeeze in another Jeeves day before January ends. Just 4 uses so far-got to make it 6.
  3. Minor weeper at the jawbone, and a little too much aftershave use, but otherwise a good shave today. As I wrote in an earlier post, I've found a way to "double-check" the jawbone area(where I used to leave too many whiskers for there). Second time around, I just "chip away" at them-akin to chipping ice off your windshield.

  4. Great looking photo and lineup Perry.

    Wonderful combo and photo.

Jason as usual you deliver with a first rate lineup and photo.

Great filter effect Jim. Congrats on getting Tundra into the "done and dusted" column.
  5. Welcome aboard! I would start with your black handled superspeed. It is the mildest of the bunch. Stick with that, one soap, and one blade for a month, and you will see a lot of improvement in your technique. Agree you should hold off on the Feather for now. Do you have enough of any of those blades to shave with for a month?
  6. Thank you Gentlemen. :happy088:
  7. Thanks, Clint!
  8. Happy anniversary, Doug! Hope its a great one!
  9. And @Norcalnewb is in the lead for the year with two tubs finished. Only other people on the board so far are @mrchick and @PLAla.
  10. Just these plus a 100 pack of Rockwell and shaverboy
  11. And thanks for the welcome
  12. Did you buy them from me? Andrews Shave Shop, on etsy ? Seems oddly familiar.

  13. It seems silly to suggest that you stick with one set up for a month, but it really will make a difference. If you use the Rockwell for a bit, and can get decent results, I would just start with those. By the time you finish a month or two with this crew you will want to have a few thousand blades ordered anyway, so you might as well go with what you have.

  14. Got it from a guy named Matt on eBay
  15. I used a Rockwell blade and it seemed ok
  16. Nice setup, John! are you using a despined blade ?
    Love that Delta Echo New!
Awesome shot, Clint! Look at those split ends!
Happy Anniversary, Doug! Hope you are feeling better!
    Very Nice, Perry!
    Great setup!
Good stuff, Jason! Any comparisons performance wise with the Fine soap vs Tabac ?
Awesome photo, Jim! And congrats on finishing off another!
  17. Well, wasn't me then. Good blades though!
  18. Yeah , he said they should be good for a guy starting out with that razor.
  19. The GSB, Astra, and 7 O' clock Super Stainless are 3 of my favorites.
  20. Was thinking maybe using those first then go to the Rockwell to finish the month
