A pre night duty shave......and it has become custom for me to use Plague Doctor on such occasions.......not that I am superstitious
The GD has recently returned from a Honemeister who literally lives just down the road from me, and he has done a magnificent job with it. ......sharp and supersmooth.

It was a nice BBS, no irritation or any other complain. Btw, I've been busy for a while, so I was living off the grid. Couldn't post anything, but from time to time I was stalking This is an ice-breaker after a long break.

Decided to just take my time and enjoy a nice slow shave with the Gem Clog Pruf. First time using it and went with three passes and achieved an excellent and smooth BBS shave.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Derby Stick Shave Soap face-lathered well with the JR #217 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the J.A. Henckels Rapide razor with a J.A. Henckels wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I just received this Auto Strop today. Needless to say this was the razor tonight. It was a great shave. The old blade was re-honed 5 shaves ago and is still a smooth shave.

This thing has some serious miles on it. It is a bit used looking, it is a fine shave.
