  3. I've always like the way Gillette did the travel Tech packaging, so cool, such a rockstar in the shaving world. I hope you have many many great shaves.

  4. The 74's easily gets 50+, with proper technique. Some guys have pushed the 74's, and Wilkies, well past 100. But, the 74's I've tried to push, will get to around 50, then peter out quickly.
The Wilkie Super Swords and The Spoilers have taken me to around 50, regularly, when I was using all the tricks and techniques. They ease into being dull. I've had great luck pushing the modern Gillette 7 O'clock Yellows to around 40+, and they ease into becoming dull too. The Yellows are a fantastic modern blade.

As for buying them to use, save your money, unless you find them sealed, and for a good price. They are ridiculously expensive and going up in price. I will hold onto them for a while, and might sell them for a stupid amount of money, one of these years.
  5. In the mail today, a cased Schick G3. Already started to clean and polish it up, the picture really doesn't show how cruddy it is, but the dispenser is how the razor head actually is. And the plating on the handle has tiny pitting on it, but Ok. I have some brown felt someplace to reline the case. In the process of moving, so I hope I can find it in one of the boxes................ 20180125_162144_preview.jpg

  7. Did a little swapping with member @LOOT. The item on the top right is just a loan. The top left is joining my den, but won't even get a clean up until the Shiny Thing has left the building.

  16. I received the generous PIF of Boots Cool Cologne Lather Shave Cream and he included a sample of Lilac Vegetal. The jury's still out on the Veg; mainly because it smells a little to feminine, but I'll give more time.
