The Village Soapsmith shave soap has now been completely used up. I doubt I will buy another puck, but will say that it smells fantastic and pairs with Old Spice very well. Also, the slickness is incredible......however it suffers from unstable lather. Reminds me exactly like Geo F. Trumpers shave soap.

I will be putting India Old Spice shave cream into my Shulton Mug and drying it into a soap-form. This is a new experiment. You can follow the eventual results in this thread:

I agree like the scent of this one. Enjoy the scuttle too. Holds the heat well and I found out right away can't use water as hot as I do with my ceramic scutles. Enjoy your shave

Shave of the day featuring my newly acquired 1961 Gillette FatBoy. Man, what a great shave! And it feels good to finally have a FatBoy in my hands!

 

You will enjoy the knot. They are quite scratchy at first. Lost two hairs on the first lathering, nothing since.
