The knot is good, however, it should be set a little deeper. It is a little floppy. Sent from my STV100-3 using Tapatalk

Razor - Gillette 109 adjustable ( Black Beauty ) Also my birth year and quarter razor Blade - Bic chrome (1) Brush - semogue 830 Soap - The Savoy Post - peach witch hazel A|S - lime Sec Wonderful shave today with probably one of my favorite razors. I get such smooth shaves on settings 5-7. It’s almost effortless sometimes. This razor has been my go to and back up on almost every shave. I usually reach for it for the areas that I sometimes just can get no matter how many passes and angles I try. But today i do think I’m not getting such go results with this blade. Second time I’ve used it and I’ve gotten a couple of nicks and slight irritation .
Williams Wednesday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Williams JR #257 Synthetic Microbatic Bullet Tip Personna Gem CS Personna Pal CS CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Florida Water I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Ingram Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the JR #257 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Micromatic Bullet Tip Razor using a Personna Gem and Pal CS SE blades and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Today's shave was at work. It's been a long week already. •1957 silver flare tip •modern store labeled stainless •Barbasol regular (the mini-can) Wonderfully smooth 2 pass over the bathroom sink. Finished up with store brand witch hazel and felt a whole lot better.
31.01.2018 A friend lend me a few old teutonic bakelite DE safety razors to try for the next weeks and the first one I chose was this gorgeous Fasan Double Slant. It was a very nice experience. The light weight gave it an agility that enabled me to do some fancy techniques (j-hook) on the chin and neck with great results. Due to the extreme torsion of the blade the angle of the head/handle to the face is a bit different than usual. The handle must be almost parallel with the face for optimal angle of the shave. Overall a great shaving experience.
Everyone loves the knight. But I really love the razor and brush. The knight ties the theme together for sure.

YESTERDAY'S SHAVE Prep: Musgo Real Oakmoss Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic Blade: Gillette Black Brush: Maggard 24mm synthetic Soap: Wholly Kaw King Of Oud Post: Crown King Olive Branch Excellent BBS shave yesterday evening. Love the scent of King Of Oud, it is a bit floral to my nose but a terrific scent. Lather was thick and had that shiny quality. No irritation or burning from the aftershave. Finished off with CK Olive Branch which is another unique scent. TODAY'S SHAVE Prep: pre shave soap mix Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic Blade: Gillette Black Brush: Razorock BC Plissoft Soap: Grooming Dept Creedence Post: Fine L'Orange Noir Another great shave this morning. The scent of Creedence is a bit strange from the tub, but once lathered the scent opened up beautifullly. Excellent lather quality and finished up without any irritation. Face feels smooth and refreshed. Hope everyone is doing well and getting great shaves!
