01 February 2018 Very nice tobacco themed shave this morning. I think RR's Puros soap & AS hit the sweet spot.....at least for me. The soap offers up plenty of rich, thick and slick lather in no time with my trusty 620. The AS splash soothes and stays potent just long enough to enjoy into the afternoon and beyond. To me, it's just a great great razor that always gives me a fine shave. In fact, it could be my one and only. Wait, nope. Got to many that I like to play with but it's my #1. I'll never part with it that's for sure. Anyway, got a fantastic shave today and my face is very happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

SOTN January 31st RazoRock Mamba Pol-Silver Super Iridium(2) Hardright Anchorset (24mm, Frigate Class) Storybook Soapworks "Coffee Spoons" Avon Wild Country AS Last night I had the shave that I intended to have yesterday morning. First time using a Storybook Soapworks soap. The soap base is very high quality and easily make a super shiny, creamy, and slick super goop lather that did not break down in a hot scuttle. Post shave feel was top notch! My skin felt well hydrated and smooth after the shave with no signs of drying or tightness. The scent as described by Storybook is Brazilian coffee essential oil with added Colombian cold brew. While a very nice coffee scent I found the scent strength to be on the lighter side. I could smell the coffee from the tub and while the lather was on my face, but is certainly didn't fill the room with the wonderful aroma of brewing coffee and in the end I found myself wishing that the scent strength was stronger. The Mamba and the Pol-Silver performed flawlessly and I ended with a three pass DFS+ shave. I finished with a splash of vintage Avon Wild Country just for fun. Have a great day my friends!
Shave memory is a tricky thing (one reason I don't trust blade reviews). Every time I have a truly outstanding shave, like with the Apollo recently, I think, man is that as good as the Shake Sharp? And then I go back to the Shake Sharp and know right away, no it wasn't. Still #1. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

A change in the setup! Friday morning: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Astra day 5 OSP Grapefruit Menthol SS Gold Bond Moisturizer F&C Black Powder AS Splash You know what - after Stirling I think that these OSP soaps are my second favorites. Does this Grapefruit Menthol ever smell great, it lathers like a son-of-a-gun, it's got a hell of a nice menthol punch, and EXCELLENT post-shave care. Do I ever love this Black Powder!

Wonderful shave with the RazoRock Game Changer on the RazoRock Barber Pole handle, I used what seems to be my favorite blade, Polsilver SI. The RazoRock Tuxedo Barrel is a joy to use, the RazoRock Blue Fougere hits on all wet shavers must list, the aftershave smells excellent.
Someone else (on another site, not here) remarked about how good Blue Fougere is. Another item to add to the list. I'm really enjoying the Blue Barbershop from RazoRock.
