Well, with anything that old, you have to replace the wire anyway - so grounding it isn't a real problem. Just think of it as instant cauterization of the weepers, and you're good.

Real men also don't need grounding wires or GFIs.

More fun were/are the old time radios which carried live ungrounded 220v on the chassis.
