Sunday, February 4 Asylum English Collection Bay Rum~~Thäter Boar (8)~~1940 Milord Tech~~Gillette SS (3)~~Clubman VIBR The Asylum and Clubman are two of the MOST NON-Bay Rum scents I have ever experienced. Ever. The Asylum smells like (and dollars to donuts---manufactured by...) D.R. Harris SANDALWOOD! I know, I had some and sold it. Exactly the same consistency as Arlington Cream. Good performer, but I wasted my money expecting Bay Rum. The Clubman...well, let's just say that Dominica doesn't have to worry about any competition here. Definitely MUST decant this into a glass bottle... Have a great Sunday!

Solid Sunday My wife said this scent reminds her of rose milk, a skin care product her grandmother used. It's not the first time I've used 1803, but it's the first comment I've heard. I'll still use it sometimes. I noticed a big difference between the 6s and the Vision - the former is much smoother, but the latter shaves much closer. I'm not sure which I favor yet. Early MMOC/PTFE with shim. Soap is actually one of mine from last year which is pretty damn good. One ATG pass + cleanup (headshave), two for beard. I could live happily with the MMOC as my only SE. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Super bowl shave I'm a bit late to the pump party, but my submission is today's razor. Hoffritz pure badger brush Stirling Blu Dovo #98 Pearlex 5/8 full hollow round end Polo Blue by Ralph Lauren Long slow 3 pass shave, completely relaxed, best foot forward. I'm happy with the result. A little close just under my chin, but my troublesome neck area is nice'smooth. My Pearlex may be ostentatious, but I love it. And with shaves like this one, one could say it's a workin' pimp. Hope y'all did as well, or better.
I’ve been refreshing a lot of blades to get to know my yellow/green Thuri better. Today I broke out three razors for comparison. Naturally, I then had to shave with all three to get the feedback on how they turned out. I knew my Old Lady wedge wasn’t going to have the same edge as a more modern blade but she did well. The Korn and the Wosty were both great but I think I prefer the smoother Wosty over the slightly sharper Korn. Nice to have such choices to make.
