ruary February 5 Razor - Gem MMOC Blade - ASR Carbon - CVS (2) Soap - Stirling Gatlinburg Brush - Stirling Pro Style Synthetic Post - Alum Ok boys and girls we're cooking with gas now. Second shave on the CVS carbon blade and I'm having fun again. Soap tonight was Stirling Gatlinburg, which I have a sample of. This was my second time with this soap and it's a keeper. You'll see a green tub of this one in my cabinet in the not too distant future. I have two other samples I'm still working through. Ben Franklin and Electric Sheep. One of those is probably not a keeper, the other is. I'll get to those in the next couple of shaves. I took my time and did a full three pass shave tonight, focusing on holding the OCMM by the end of the handle and letting the razor do its thing without any extra help (read pressure) from me. Very comfortable and effective passes. I had a very high end DFS after the second pass and decided to try to find the baby, hence the third pass. That and I was enjoying the lather too much. The third pass was enough to give the alum something to complain about on my neck and I still missed the baby. Overkill on my part but hey, it was fun. I feel like I'll have control of this razor in a rather short time. Once I feel at home with it I'll change off of Stirling and do the week of Williams I owe Fuzzy.

SOTD Tech w/ Astra SP (3) Clubman Cream / AS Nivea balm This started as a shavette shave. After cutting myself and turning half of my jaw red I decided to let the Tech rescue the shave. I had never tried a shavette before. Very doubtful I ever will again lol. Cheers ! Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk

A very good BBS shave again but I'm sort of disappointed a little with the Derby because it seemed to show signs of dullness. The Junjie is definitely milder than my Super Speed, which also is not an aggressive razor so in any case a little extra effort is necessary to get the desired results. The Vi-John Menthol cream lathers like crazy and its menthol effect is mild, compared to its "countryman" the Godrej Menthol Mist but it's still nice. The Lucky Tiger balm went on so cooling, soothing, and protective while the Shambala's lovely scent got me big kisses and hugs from the wife! Enjoy your day!
