+1! Skin stretching was a tip that made a huge difference for me when I learned about it -- here in the 30DC thread, from @Bama Samurai...
Over the course of 4 years I have finished 2 pucks. This puck is near the end or I would have never made such a bold claim that I was trying to finish it off. It is the same in my den, all my straights are easier than a shavette. Oh yeah I forgot about that one. If you had used stainless steel instead of zamac bolt you could have sold those razors for big bucks.
Thanks for the welcome and hints. Very much appreciated. Enviado desde mi Lenovo S60-w mediante Tapatalk
Same ole story. Looking for help then arguing with the advise. I am like Elmer Keith...."Hell I was there".
I wish I would have thought of that then! I left my special design (yes stainless) at the hotel. Man, I missed out on some profit.
February 7, 2018 OneBlade Genesis V2 Modified Gem PTFE ATG LE Shavemac D01 2 Band Flat Top Jeeves Bay Rum Krampert’s Bay Rum Aftershave A great early morning shave this morning. Jeeves is very easy to whip into a rich slick lather with very pleasant scent. Three passes and touch ups ended with a near perfect shave. A splash of Krampert's Bay Rum and I am ready for a busy day. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

Welcome! You are in the right place if you want to learn quickly and efficiently. Just post your experience and your questions here. This group is extremely helpful and has forgotten more about shaving than most people know. We've forgotten more about a lot of things, but that's a different story.
SOTD February 7, 2018 Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: Personna Razor: Personna injector Brush: Zenith B02 boar Lather: Wholly Kaw Jamestown Gentleman Post: Witch hazel, RazoRock Blue Barbershop aftershave WTG, touch up Nice and easy shave. This Personna razor is probably the mildest one in my collection. After using the '66' all last month along with the G-Bar this Personna felt incredibly mild. It's smooth but takes a little more time in the clean-up to get where I normally would be. But that's okay....an easy and mild shave is never a bad thing. The Wholly Kaw soap lathered up easily. This is a sample of unknown weight, so I may not get credit in our @Drygulch challenge once it's finished. It's probably less than an ounce. But I'll combine it with something else later down the road to make a 1 ounce offering. It's good soap, regardless, and I'm enjoying the RazoRock Blue Barbershop splash. Smells pretty good. Have a great day!
Thank you, Clint! Another terrific picture, Clint! A tempting line-up, Jim. Well-done! Nicely done, Perry. Have a great day too!
Great filter effect Jim. What do you think of the Variant? Great lineup Perry. So what are your three most favorite razors now?
Thanks, Clint! I would say my top three razors at the moment are the humble G1, the G-Bar, and the Hawk. That's one each of three styles: injector, SE, and Artist Club. It's hard to narrow it down to just three. I like all of my injectors as they all provide something a little different.
