I just can't keep up with you guys. It's 1:00am and I gave up 150 posts back. I just want to pop in and brag about my sweet wife again. I've been traveling a lot for business and came home this week to find that my wife repurposed a piece of furniture for me to store my soaps and after shaves (most of them anyway) I came home to this in the master bath. I like it a lot. Have fun guys!
    Good night.

Guilty here too. First thing I spotted was the old spice. Should put a lock on that cabinet or frosted glass . Excuse me while I go wipe the drool off my chin now .

Thanks for all of the recommendations regarding the brushes guys. I guess I'll be taking a look at the Omega brushes when the time comes... Their price point is unreal!

Second day's 2xWTG shaving is done with - doesn't feel quite as comfortable as yesterday. That being said, I have previously shaved every other day due to the closeness of my butchery. It is not uncomfortable by any means though!

The 'riding the cap' technique has certainly enabled me to focus on the proper blade angle regardless of where I am shaving on the face, so thank you very much for that!

Is it normal to feel some ever-so-slight burning when face lathering? Or could it be that my skin is being irritated by my current shaving cream? I have, prior to yesterday, been lathering in a bowl and then applying it.

    Cheers,

    James

I did at first too but my skin was a bit irritated still , the proraso green has menthol and my boar brush was new . I never figured out which it was but after a couple days as my technique improved it seemed to go away . I make a bit of lather in the bowl and finish it on my face . I use witch hazel now followed by an as balm too. Results are way better now . That's just my experience.

At least the kids are better. I hope both you and your wife feel better soon. Even with all that going on you nailed another great photo.
