That is some nice cream. I have a tube of Palmolive that is only a few years old. I will need to find it and give it a go. Fantastic slickness. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Thanks Ezra. But it really doesn't matter who makes that 1000th page.....We need to stretch this out....I hope the next 10 pages will be filled with are Denizen Injector and SE lover's photos of their signature kits....and then I hope to see Valentine's Kit's followed by a whole year of great SE and Injector shaves worth immortalising by posting at this Party....WooHoo!! Gentleman........Start your lathers......lol!
That reminds me Here comes NASCAR... I am going to start a thread across the street. I was thinking about starting a fantasy league...but Yahoo dropped it this season. I gues valentinens is a rose soap or cream shave..... Not sure what aftershave though.
Fuzzy, PM me your address. You can have my backup Marvy brush. But you’ll have to make a video of you using the Marvy brush on the Marvy soap. Deal?

12 February Williams Menthol Monday Pre-Shave: Hot Shower Brush: Brush XIV, 25mm Synthetic Fan Type Soap: Williams Menthol w/ added TSD M-Bomb and blinded EO Razor: Superior 1900 w/ @Jayaruh reproduction handle Blade: PAL (?) w/ @riverrun made shim Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse and OSMA Alum block Photo: This is my shave from last night. When I got home yesterday there was a letter from Fuzzy waiting for me in the mail box. I thought it may have been my pink slip for telling others how to molest the Williams. (When bricks aren't enough.) Inside there was the shim @riverrun had made. I had forgotten all about it. Of course I had to use it with the very next shave. Brought out the Menthol Williams for Menthol Monday. Added a little M-Bomb to help with the menthol. I also added some EO for some extra scent, that did not work out as well as I had thought. The vintage Williams whipped up one hell of a lather. Thanks @riverrun for the shim. It puts a whole new angle on the blade. I believe it works well but will have to do more testing before giving my thoughts. I do know I did a DFS with very little sting, less then normal, from the Alum block. The blade also has, I believe, at least a half dozen shaves on it. This was the second shave using the new handle from Jim, thanks Jim. This handle more closely resembles the wooden handle you find on some of the old LC's. It's about a third of the size of the other handle I have from Jim. Other than it being quite small it works surprisingly well. It makes the razor very agile. To give a car analogy. It was like driving a four-door saloon with the other Jim handle on it. It worked well, and comfortable to drive. To a little sports car that is fun to drive fast along the country roads to impress the young lady setting in the passenger seat. Thanks again Jim @Jayaruh they are both a joy to use.

Tues 13th Feb RazoRock Pissoft 22mm Stirling Baker Street Ever Ready " Streamline " Gem Coated S/S [ 1 ] Tuff Green A/S Lotion. Over the last couple of weeks have been using Injectors and Modern AC/SE Razors, and had some great Shaves. So was interested to see how my favourite SE Stacked up. It might be deemed by many to be harsh and aggressive, but it shears through my tough growth with ease. One is aware if you get a bit cavalier when wielding this Razor it can bite, pleased to say I avoided any mishaps. This probably the closest of Shaves I have had recently, and actually took less time than most of the larger headed AC/ SEs. To get the performance of this Razor/ Blade combo into true perspective, I have had Shaves with some of the modern offerings. I had a Loaner Sabre L1, and could only get a moderate Shave with as it was obviously too mild for my beard. I then tried the ATT Se G1 version 2 and it was totally ineffectual. I did after consulting with ATT use a shim to get a decent Shave. But honestly this is not good enough for a brand new [ not cheap] Razor. I shall stick to the use of my Vintage SE as at least I know I can get a decent Shave from them.
Maybe I will be #1000. So here's my Idea to honor @Bird Lives and this amazing thread. Whoever posts a SOTD using a Schick Injector(or repeater) razors on pages 1000-1005 will be entered to win one of my prototype Schick Repeating razors. Who's in ? http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/odd-injectors-prototypes.57980/page-3#post-1342280 Entries: @wchnu @Norcalnewb @riverrun @GarnerPW @PLAla @sdguero @twhite @Herm2502 @EzraCobb @PLAla @jimjo1031 @MPF9 @wchnu @GarnerPW @RyX @Jayaruh @MPF9 @sdguero @Zykris @polishaver @MPF9 @wchnu @PLAla @sdguero
You know I'll be in! I'm using an injector almost every shave, with a GEM razor thrown in every now and then. Great idea, Andrew!
