I have tried the Blue. I like to call it the European Aqua Velva.

Which scent? All of them are okay, google Floid and you'll find so many different reviews, truth be told what something smells on me won't be the same on you. Body chemistry.

    My favorite "Barbershop" AS.
As you can see, I am set for a few years. I do not concur with the Aqua Velva comparison. IMO, they are quite different.

Is there a big difference between the Italian and Spanish versions?

My personal experience is with the Spanish Floid Suave. Feels great on the face, mild menthol cooling, scent lasts an hour or so, my wife always seems to like it.

But... there are four Floids still in production: Spanish Black, Suave and Vigoroso; Italian Amber.

The Spanish Vigoroso is similar to the Suave but with more menthol.

No experience with the Spanish Black or Italian Amber.

You can get a sampler of all four from Maggards.

The Italian Blue Floid may be what you're looking for as it gets all the love, but has been out of production for a couple of years now. The supposed descendant of this is Blue Barbershop from Italian Barber.
I have a couple of bottles but haven't opened our tried them yet.

    Get the sampler!
