There is a sort of running joke on Reddit is that it smells like “Love Farts”, or some such. Now I will go out on the edge, live dangerously, and try scents that smell like bug spray, but I’m drawing the line there.
It isn’t what a guy wants to hear, but you can suck out under the slab where the footing should be, and pour one. Then it just gets poured wide, and it’s the footing for the addition. Not a big deal.
Silicone sealants often smell like vinegar (acetic acid) as they cure, but this odor eventually goes away. I'm betting the odor results from another type of product that was used to either manufacture or set the knot.
Hopefully the resolution will be quick - and not cost too much extra. Looking forward to seeing the den pics, so tell ‘em to hurry up already!

I know better. I made the mistake of using the oven to heat up some kydex to make a new pistol holster. She was not pleased at all. I won't make that mistake again.

@wristwatchb Charlie, you'll be happy to know that I gave into my weakness and bought a razor this evening. No not a Delta Echo but a black Rocnel SE-G Gem razor. We won't discuss the adult beverages involved.

I've been interested in fountain pens lately. I sent a vintage fountain pen off to be restored, and I purchased a new fountain pen. I'm still looking at pens and starting to practice with the one that I have. I also purchased a couple of different inks - one is a fast drying black ink (good for lefties like me) and another is a midnight blue. Oh well, it keeps me home and off the street.
