Last night's shave 2-15-18 Henkels wedge passaround razor B&M vetyver santal Semogue 1305 boar Fine platinum AS First shave with a wedge razor and it exceeded my expectations! 2 pass DFS that for me falls somewhere between a Gem blade and an AC blade in closeness. Sat 17th Feb Vulfix 404 mixed Vitos Super Red Schick E2 [ Canada] Schick Proline [ 4 ] Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion Finally made a belated Injector Shave! having done scheduled Gem Shaves.Today used one of my E2 Razors of which I have a USA and Canadian model. My recent experiences with them indicate that I get nicer Shaves with the Canadian model. When shaving with razors which I find to be a bit more aggressive than the norm, I tend to use soaps like the Vitos/MWF which I find dependable. This E2 is much smoother/less harsh than my original USA version, it has great blade feel without being overly aggressive, and is very efficient. The Shave on the whole was smooth and easy with a top quality finish, apart from around the lower jawline an area that is always a problem for me.

17 February Pre-Shave: Hot Shower Brush: Brush XIV, 25mm Synthetic Fan Type Soap: Arko/Williams mix homemade stick Razor: PAL De-Luxe Injecto-Matic Blade: Chick Schick (4?) Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse, OSMA Alum block and British Sterling AS Photo: Saturday morning shave. I have now used the PAL Injecto-Matic razor about 7-8 times. When I first got it I put a Ted Pella blade in it and just wasn't that great. I was contemplating re-PIFing again then some guys here told me to put a Chick in it. I must say the shaves have gotten better with every use of the razor. Today was one pass away from BBS. The best yet from this razor. Today was a very enjoyable two pass shave that left me with a DFS. I finished of with some British Sterling. I am ready for what ever the day may bring.

Last night 2/17/18 - 1st shave with razorock hawk, very nice and a mild shave..i find the aluminum general was more aggressive and i like general better... still hawk is excellent shaver . . Jamie user rezeul as pre shave, this soap exploded lather!
This is a WOW whutta shave day. This G8 is every bit as aggressive feeling and effecient as my early E2. With a plain ole Personna blade it knocked out a super close shave. The Boots soap was great with the Omega biar topped JR 176. Finished it all off with the Boots Freshwood AS.

You know...the G8 in it's own way is one of the coolest evah! I've always thought so.... 1. It's absolutely Bb, meaning there is NUTHIN' SPECIAL about it. It's a routine Schick, AFTER Ever Sharp bought them. And they had gone to plastic, for almost a decade. 2. It's got the transitional handle, between the standart plastic handle and the totally new I types. 3. But inspite of it's Totally Unspecial Status....The G8 can hold it's own with ANY RAZOR!! I love it! I love to get consistant amazing shaves with an inexpensive Bb Schick Injector! And I agree...It shaves every bit as good as any of the E2s that I have tried.
This is the only G8 I have used. I hope they all are this good. Thank you again for letting me stolinate it. Great pics!! Great looking shave and Dad with the boys is awesomlicious!!
I view the G as an awkward middle child. Not the class of the I series nor the zoom of the E. You know, pleasant but kinda lacking personality. Thats exactly what I mean....the G types are regular blue collar injector razors....but the G8's that I have tried did shave very well and also were on the aggressive side of the pool...}8^))
