This was such a delightful shave from the first to the third pass. Lathering up with the Electric Sheep soap is so easy as well as such a pleasure and the mutton tallow really contributes to a good post-shave feeling. In fact I didn't even need to use any balm because my skin felt so moisturized and soothed. The Krampert's Bay Rum aftershave also does great things to the skin, besides making you smell fantastic. BBS as BBS could get! My Dad's shave will be as follows: Two hot towels Omega 49 Ming Shi TTO/7 AM day 4 De Vergulde Hand SS De Vergulde Hand AS Balm This De Vergulde Hand is one of Dad's favorites and I love it too! Have a great Sunday!

Mr. SOA Founder-I sometimes will give my soaps a bit of a washing down(emphasis on "bit")if I find them to be on the dry side. I do it just for soaps I'm not currently using. Does that put me into SOA?

Full head and beard shave with the Fatip-Yaqi. Just marvelous. I actually used a Rockwell handle and not the one pictured, but the threads on the Yaqi are a bit funky and I couldn't manage to get the Rockwell back on properly for the photo. Permasharp blade. Italian Barber now has the DOC on sale with Razorock branding. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Thank you. I updated the picture with a more detailed, yet let noisy result that gives a great view of the items. I'm really proud of this setup and how it turned out. The Shulton Grand Turk impression by Josh of Desire Metalworks is a great piece of art. One of a kind and does great justice to the vintage Shulton lineup.

Feb. 18,2018 Sunday Had a very good shave this morning, maybe a BBS. Using the same preps and razor/blade as the past 10 days in a row. Same outcome. Working on a PIF right now. Doing a PIF takes a certain amount of effort (enjoyable though). Having a ball but I may have to give up wet shaving if my meds keep dropping in they`re effect. I really do love wet shaving and I will miss it a lot. Wish me luck, thanks. God Bless. Bill

Looks like some of you are breaking out the BIG GUNS. Me, I'll just show my little Sheffield razor I just rescued, and restored. I had a three day old beard. Geez, lots of gray now. This newly honed razor sliced through the whiskers, like they weren't even there. 2 pass shave, with BDBS results. I do like these old blades. Razor- George Wostenholm & Sons, EBRO, Sheffield.
