She did well to keep a straight face. After all that intellectualism I had to step down slowly. Here, try this!
We're setting sail to the place on the map from which no one has ever returned Drawn by the promise of the joker and the fool by the light of the crosses that burned. Drawn by the promise of the women and the lace and the gold and the cotton and pearls It's the place where they keep all the darkness you need. You sail away from the light of the world on this trip, baby. You will pay tomorrow You're gonna pay tomorrow You will pay tomorrow....
Thank you. I like this bowl a lot and appreciate your wishes. I’m just sitting down to dinner in an airport. Life is a little crazy
I may not have given plasma in College, but I do recall some Everclear with Purple Tang. It may have partially explained the extra year in undergrad...
Everclear was never really legal in BC, but a few trips up north for a summer job in University got me close enough to Hyder, Alaska to pick up a couple of cases to take back to Victoria. I think I made some sort of Dean’s list...the kind where they take an active role in making sure you are getting certain grades. How nice of them.
So nice I used it twice: my shave for the last two days. Stirling Boar Lisa's Natural Somali Rose Soap Weck Sextoblade Thayers Rose Witch Hazel One leisurely pass and done. Very nice. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Bama banned it in the dorms by name. Kids would go to keggers, then get the bright idea that an everclear nightcap is the right way to spend 72 hours in an ICU.
It's going to take me a while to catch up on 14 pages, but oh well. Last night I had my shower/shave, with the Usual Suspects for right now. Current Williams (in a GERMS mug from Houston Museum of Natural Science) VDH Boar - even though I have other brushes, I've been just working this brush as I go through different soaps. Post-WWII Aristocrat Dumped the Personna blade (dollar store) after two uncomfortable but decent shaves. (The hair was gone, but I wasn't happy) The second shave was bad enough I was dreading this one. Went back to Astra SP. Even with the lingering after effects of the previous blade, the Astra proved itself again. Clean shave, no additional irritation. I'm seeing if I can use up the Williams as part of this focus round.
Great lineup Dan. What do you think of the Schick I1? Wonderful setup for Menthol Monday and as usual a great picture.
-Ming Shi -Duke 3 Synthetic -Pre de Provence 63 -Proraso Green AS Inspired by @clint64, I dug out the PdP. I’m not sure why I don’t use it more often. I think the small tin just sort of makes me not as interested in using it. It is really pretty slick, nice scent, has a great post shave feel, and the quad milled puck weighs about seven and a half pounds, and lasts forever. I don’t think of it as quite a top tier soap, but it maybe could be if a guy spent some time with it, getting the water just right. It has a pretty tight window between turning shiny and disappearing. All in all though, I do enjoy it. I am not sure there isn’t something wrong with my Ming Shi. I have a different clone I bought a while back, and it is noticeably more aggressive. This thing when cranked up, isn’t any more efficient than a DE 89. I need to look at the blade gap, and possibly disassemble it to clock it around another turn. All I know Is that the Futur I used to have, and the NT Vigour clone would/will both eat your face is you are careless. Not so with this new one.
I think she was performing in the key of MasterLock. Hey, just because I walked past your house heading south doesn't mean I was migrating. Fortran 77, but close enough.
