  3. Beta Blockers - stops hand tremors
    Benzos - nerves
    Amphetamines - concentration, jet lag

Could all be useful for curling. It's more than steroids that people cheat with.

  4. There are 2500 Curling Rinks in Canada where the PEDs of choice are Wisers and Crown Royal.
  5. The Beib hasn't made the news lately. His teenage shenanigans were gathering the wrong kind of attention. Nothing a stay in the pokey wouldn't fix.
Mr. Reynolds is knocking them out of the park! Deadpool 2 is in post production, and part 3 announced. He's also quite the Tweeter from what I hear.

Thank you Jason. Not the warm wood tones you excel in, or my usual boring cloth draped backdrops. Chris @Bama Samurai lead me to an inspired shave, and that young lady scrambled my brain. Almost back to what stands for normal. Just gotta avoid the YouTubes else it might permanently alter my world view.

  6. You are selling yourself far too short, Rick. Your retro/grainy vintage shots are a cool, signature look.

  7. To me, sport implies either athletic event where athletic prowess is strictly tested (track and field), a contest between elite athletes in a discipline (boxing, grappling) or is a game played by teams that involves physical confrontation with the opponents.

  8. The signature part is the coolest part. I'd know a @RyX photo even out of context.

  9. In this case, per the AP.

The pair could be stripped of their medals if Krushelnitsky is found to have tested positive for meldonium, a Latvian-made heart medicine which increases blood flow and boosts stamina and has been banned since 2016.

  12. I took fencing in college. The Theatre department funded the classes, and the fencing instructor also taught stage combat. The athletic department at the University of Houston (a historically corrupt group) used the argument that fencing wasn't a real sport as a reason why they refused to sponsor the fencing team. This despite the fact that fencing had been an Olympic level sport/event longer than football had been a professional sport.

  13. Huh, I have a style? I've been thinking about trying an 8 megapixel / Snapseed app adjusted / Tapatalk upload for graphics, followed by editing my post via Firefox to add text, but it sounded like too much work. Guess I'll stick with snapping a photo, emailing it to myself, and saving as a GIF to get in under the one MB file limit. It's my style!

  15. Favorite February

    February 19 - A week with Mitchell's Wool Fat - Day 4

    Razor - Gem MMOC
Blade - [IMG] ASR Carbon - CVS (4)
    Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Brush - Jayaruh #46
    Post - Alum

Whew! What a three day run. I'm tired, a bit cranky, but the beds were sold in mass quantities. Now, if I can only survive until Thursday I get two days off in a row. The shave tonight helped me relax after a late night. Day four on the Fat and the blade as well. The JR46 tamed the Fat instantly. Shortest load time I've had ever, I think, with the MWF. Three full passes and so much left in the brush I could have odne at least three more. On the 4th shave the blade is showing just a hint of drag. That will probably get it retired tonight. But the BBS finish with quiet alum and no blood - it's just how we do it around here! Hope your Monday was a good one!
