One of the best shaves I've had lately - this Krampert's Frostbite soap overflowed while I was lathering up and I had to do some cleaning up before I started my shave. Truthfully, I overloaded my brush because I forgot that it's not the same type of formula as a Stirling soap. The menthol effect was so nice and the post-shave feeling was great. The matching aftershave smells so awesome but it never interferes with a fragrance and not only is it as cold as hell - you don't need any balm because the moisturizing is so good. Three passes did the job for me!

    Have a good one!

An effortless, 2 pass, minor touch-up, DFS+ shave this morning. Actually, make that a DFS shave. Just running my fingers down my right jaw line and I detect a wee bit-o-stubble. Be right back.......

OK, that's better. Grabbed my Merkur 45 travel razor which I use for post shave touch-ups on occasion and took care of that stubble. Plus, I got to splash on some more AV Ice Blue.

    Cream: Proraso Blue
    Brush: Omega S10065 synthetic
    Bowl: Dollar Tree salsa
    Razor(s) Fatip Grande / Merkur 45
    Blade(s) Gillette 7 O'Clock (3) / Feather (?)
    Aftershave: Aqua Velva Ice Blue

The razor head is a Laresche, its a vintage razor that was made for bazaars. the handle is a PAA 2 piece. Cool shave, sharp star on 2nd shave is Russian excellence.. Mother Russia approves...

I think this blade aged too quickly, this shave was a little more rough than usual. I got a couple weepers on my neck, but nothing major. My skin feels soft and comfortable thanks to the underrated Tabac balsam.

The Mamba walks right up to that too mild line but I think I'm ok with it. Two full passes required for the head shave but I was in no particular hurry and enjoyed a nice mild shave. Keeps your skills sharp. Second shave on the Tian Li. [IMG]
