The handle is filled with BB's and epoxy for added weight. It turned out to be an excellent razor and provided me with a smooth and comfortable BBS shave.

SHAVE OF THE DAY Prep: shower with C&E Vetiver Juniperberry bath soap, pre shave soap mix Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic Blade: Gillette Rubie Brush: Razorock Plissoft Soap: Victory Shaving- Rosie Post: CL YRP aftershave Very refreshing shave this afternoon. The Rosie soap smells great, and noticed that if you take the time to work the lather from this soap it changes to a thick yoguart consistancy. Very good stuff, between the soy wax and the right proportion of olive oil give it teriffic slickness. Got a BBS shave and finished off with YRP which paired well with the Rosie. Today's shave was with a new one, for me. Straight from Transylvania, freshly restored, and honed. I had a great 2 pass shave, with BBS results. This is the 3rd Russian SR I own,each gives a fantastic shave, and each takes a super sharp edge. Excellent steel. Razor- Russian, Stiz factory, "Dawn", Made in Moscow. 1975. SS General & Feather Pro Super #2 Maggard B&W 30mm B&M Seville soap Humphreys Alcoholado Maravilla Nivea 2in1 lotion B&M Seville A/S splash Close to 70 degrees F today here in the Northeast (Jersey), had to bring out the B&M Seville to get that citrus, lemon and semi bitter sweet shave on with the SS General. It’s a love/hate Barbershop scent that has been somewhat modernized but still takes me back to the good old days of the 70’s in Spanish Harlem “El Barrio” when I was barely knee high. Those classic Spanish American barberias are long gone, but this stuff transports me there on the quick step. Devine, just devine. A quick 2 pass shave and BBS is restored. Hell, I just might take a swing to the old neighborhood this weekend and make a stop over at Rao’s or Patsy’s Pizzaria. Icons of Italian cuisine. Love the way that razors not visited often seem to shine after reacqaintance with them. Also, I'm loving the scent combo of yin yang and lavender FW. Hope y'all did as well, or better.
Williams Wednesday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Williams Mug TOST LE Synthetic Bunny V3 Injector Schick Proline B-20 CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Aqua Velva Ice Blue I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the TOST LE Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Bunny V3 Injector Razor using a Schick Proline B-20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
