What's Your Latest 100 Blade Purchase, And Why??

Gillette silver blues:

They are some if the sharpest blades made, and they are incredibly smooth.

I found them at the lowest price I have seen in a very long time, so I jumped.

 

My last 100-round purchases were Gillette Platinums & Silver Blues, Perma-Sharps (gold box), Voskhods, & Polsivers SI.

 

My last bulk blade buying spree. As to why - because I could.

100 Swedish Supersteel and 100 Vokshod, because they are both sharp and incredibly smooth.

 

Last large order I made was 250 Pol Silver Super Iridium's. I'm pretty much down to 4 favorites, the Pol Silver, Gillette Silver Blue & Nacet, and Perma Sharp

 

I just recently bought 100 Kai blades. They are the only ones that I can use so far and the wife likes them the most too.

Also bought 100 Astra SP. Bought 50 Gem SEs from Ted Pella's...shoulda done 100 of them. The Warner and I both use DEs but only I use the SEs.

 

Not bought a 100 sleeve for a few yeas now as I use straights 99.8% of the time.

But Rapira was my last purchase my personal favourite.

 

Gillette Nacet because they are the smoothest blades I have found and the price I found is not much more than Astra( $13/100ct).

I have enough blades.

 

Probably more than I need.

 

Gem Stainless PTFE last fall as I was out of SE blades and buying in bulk is much better than paying $0.45 per blade at the local grocery.

Gillette Rubie

 

100 Polsilver Super Iridium. I happened to re-visit them a while ago from a sample pack and got 10 terrific shaves out of one. Got a great deal as well from RBC (Razor Blades Club) 100ct for $16.95 & free shipping. Their website is kind of klunky, but I received the order within the stated time frame.

That should be my last bulk buy for some time as I've got plenty of other blades in my rotation that perform just fine.
