Thanks for clarifying, Clint! I wasn't certain if it was the exact same, or if maybe the actual Proraso was a touch better. I haven't taken advantage of any of the Bath & Body Works sales - but you can get a bunch of it fairly cheap when they run them. Like most of us need more soaps...
It is 3parts Haslinger sage, 2parts Haslinger seaweed, 5parts Fine Snake Bite in a Tabac bowl ; and its outstanding!
Another nice outdoor pic, Clint. Made me think that we haven't had many from Doug in a while. 80F today? Sigh... Nice photo, Perry. Out of curiosity, have you tried Barrister's Reserve Cool? It is also supposed to be based on Floid Blue, and was just wondering how close these two -that and the Razorock Blue- are to one another. Stunning brush/razor combo, Mark. So... it ended up a really heavily mentholated herbal Seaweed? Interesting.
Yeah, I guess that’s about right. The menthol doesn’t lead but I notice it with the subtle scent all through my shave. It’s a really nice experience .
If it works, it works! You need to come up with a snazzy name for it. 'Iced Kelp'? 'Cooling Corral Reef'?
Thank you, Jason! I haven't tried the Barrister and Mann Reserve Cool......actually haven't tried any Barrister and Mann at all. I also haven't tried Floid Blue, so I could compare the RazoRock to the Barrister, but not to the original. @Douglas Carey has the RazoRock Blue Barbershop but said it didn't smell like Floid Blue to him. Regardless, I enjoy the Blue Barbershop pretty well. It has a strong powder element but is nice overall.
You know... It's not really that I find any issue with it. I just thought since the other Bluebeards Revenge stuff was shady compared to other products, so too must the brush be. If it is indeed a standard boar bristle brush - i'm cool with that.
You're in for a great wekk, Neal! Amazing photo, Clint! Very nice, Perry! Awesome shot, Mark! The new knot looks great and so does your E3, Jason!
