I was tempted to buy a stick of the Palmolive shave soap today! I decided however, that I should be working on my technique and not creating any variables! I have a near full tub of Proraso White, Nivea Sensitive ASB and 99 Astra SP blades... Enough for March's rule too!
Great photo, Dan! Love the Slim! The Clubman Classic Vanilla is quite nice. I just wish the scent would stick around a little longer.

Back to it after my Friday sojourn with The Fat. I'll keep using the Jeeves until it's gone. Sorry for the boring and repetitive pictures but there's not much you can do with the same tub over and over. All came together quite well. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

February 24, 2018 Rocnel SE-G Gem PTFE Chubby 2 Synthetic Mystic Water Vetiver & Oakmoss Fine Fresh Vetiver Since the Rocnel SE-G was delivered yesterday, I just had to give it a go this morning. I decided to stick with some favorite performers in the CH2 Synthetic and MW Vetiver & Oakmoss. The Oakmoss rounds out the Vetiver into a very pleasing scent profile. Loading a blade into the SE-G is funky and requires some attention to make sure blade does not overhang the edge of the comb. With that issue addressed I went with a traditional 3 pass shave, WTG, XTG and ATG. First impression was the angle was easy to find but this razor has some serious blade feel. I immediately thought this thing with bite if I don't pay attention. Which I promptly ignored nicking myself pretty good on the ATG pass. Even with that error the resulting shave was exceptionally close and I anticipate the shaves getting much better as I continue to use the razor. A splash of Fine Fresh Vetiver and I am off to visit my mom for the day. Take her out to lunch and spend the day with her. I hope everyone has a great Saturday. Change of plans. Mom is going out with her friends today so I will likely visit her tomorrow.
