  3. One of my favourite DEs.
If you already know the following, please ignore me.
At the base of the handle is an arrow and vertical graduations, this is to adjust the blade gap, and make it a more or less efficient shave, depending on your preference.
My other favourite DE is a Gibbs No.15 or 17, if you haven't tried one I think you will be very impressed.

  4. So the looser I adjust, the more aggressive?
I do have both the No15 and the no17. [IMG]

  5. Yes that's it, basically there are four settings including zero. Anything after 4 and the blade chatter is unpleasant/risky.
You're a man of very good taste :)
    p.s. loving the gold one.

  13. Wonderful shave with the new RazoRock SLOC, I really like the keyhole brush feels good in my hand. Caribbean Holiday shaving soap smells fantastic! Rum, Coconut and Pineapple.
I added a couple of spays of the RazoRock Zcent to my palm along with Fine Snake Bite. Wow!!

    SE Sunday's Shave

    Proraso Pre Shave
    Musgo Real
    TOST LE Synthetic
    Gem 1905 Lather Catcher
    Original Gem Cutlery SE
    CWR
    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Musgo Real Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the TOST LE Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem 1905 Lather Catcher Razor using an Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
