  1. I thought it might be fun to hear what others use to protect theirs homes, and property.

    Myself, a Remington 870, 12 Ga sits c lose by in the bedroom.
    For those unexpected knocks on the door, a Glock 17, 9mm is tucked behind my back.
    In the backyard are two ghetto mutts I acquired as puppies. They love and protect that backyard from anything and anyone, who is a stranger. Kids are always welcome with them.

  9. Bedroom: Rem 870 (alternating #4 shot and #00) and a Smith & Wesson 686 .357 mag (7 shot).
    Office: 1911 .45 cal

    Roaming the house and property: one each Doberman and one each English Mastiff. Although I must say - they look the part but in reality they would probably help anyone that had dog biscuits.

  12. 7 iron by the back door and steel security doors with double throw deadbolts in .125 steel frame. And neighbors that look out for each other. Last year I had to go to the emergency room and came home at dawn, walked around the house and before I completed the trip a police officer met me. Love those neighbors.

  19. Those are great little inventions. They really help identify the suspect after he has broken into your house. Hopefully you won't be inside.
