Yes, the Sticky has been on my want list for ages. When I saw one for under $50 cased I jumped. Oddly my maximum bid was also $50 so I would have been very annoyed if I was outbid. I have no issues with bidding against anybody. May he with the largest cash reserves win!
I pick one up about 4 months back with a very minor crack in the head, but work great. It's not aggressive by any means, but gives me a sweet shave. I'm glad you got it, I only bid on it cause it was so nice with the case.
And more on topic currently I am waiting on two things one of those cool little mechanical servant tools but as well I'm a stickler for anything Russian and I saw this bakelite with what looked like Cyrillic on the box and I just had to buy it. Sent from my SM-N915V using Tapatalk
I don't mind a bit of color variation or wood grain variation,in some cases it looks nice.In this case you have a scale that is dark brown like chestnut and then one small abrupt patch of blonde-tan wood almost a light walnut shell color.Looking at it from the side the light color area goes concave into the wood like ) which makes me think it was a natural defect. The color difference is rather jarring and not pleasant to look at.The rest of the wood is nice and has a fine grain .If the scales were of all of the light color they would be rather nice.As it is it just screams "screw up".IMO
There were three left when I snagged one. If it turns out that someone else wants it more than I do, I'll happily pass it along as a refund
