It just took me a bit of time to get the new seat covers in. There is already a full bottle of Clubman and Citrus Musk waiting. Takes forever to kill off a bottle though.
Favorite February February 27 - A week with Tabac meets a week with the Fat - FatBac - Day 21 Razor - Gem MMOC Blade - ASR Carbon - CVS (3) Soap - FatBac Brush - 30DC LE Post - Alum Well I see I've fallen behind thanks to work today. Guess I'll do some reading and get caught up. In the meantime the shave was a thing of wonder again thanks to the FatBac and 30DC brush. So easy to get a world-class lather up and the scent just mesmerizes me. Plus the quality of the lather is as good as it gets. Two passes and touch ups with the OCMM and carbon blade for a near-BBS and I'm a very happy camper with that. No need to chase the baby tonight. It might harsh the mellow of the shave. One more day in February so keep it coming. March Madness is up next and we'll get to that. For now, let's keep those FAVuary shaves front and center!
Same here. Seemed like it was a requirement to run a barber shop. Every one I was ever in had it .That's got to say something.
Oh...you mean like @MR41 stating "I’ve always thought it was funny, like he had his own Paulism or something." Calling @richgem for the assist. has his own Paulism ?
It was loosely based on this character, as I recall. Note the confidence and expertise with the open blade.
Samurai Shavette training. That will add some serious fun and information to the group for March! You certainly have my attention!
Pain sticks have a way of keeping you humble for awhile. I remember learning the CJB on a rule back when I had my first one - that was a month I thought I might not make it through for the first couple of weeks.
Man I wish I hadn't figured Williams out as far as I did. My anti-Williams button is engaged but I just can't pull the trigger anymore. All I can see is Fuzzy shaking his head at me with that disappointed and sad look.
Congrats on winning that PIF and get ready to have some real fun learning to tame a pain stick. Remember - the razor may look scary - but it's the blades that do the damage. Kind of like a fear of heights. Nothing up high is going to hurt you. Even the fall doesn't hurt you. It's the sudden stop.
