Really liking the new brush a lot. Not sure it's possible for me to get a terrible shave with a Rapira Swedish Supersteel, but I can tell you the Parker really gave it the old college try, just had a ton of blade feel and really scraped the hell out of my upper lip, and chin.

A 3 pass with touch ups. Just an incredible shave, and those Ladas blades are a keeper.

Really love the black beauty, should really use more often it really performs well for me. The previous posters inspired me to break out the Tabac again, a soap I really like. Most Platinum blades don't agree with and the rubie performed about as well as platinum ever does. One small weeper, from such a sharp blade, indicates my technique is greatly improving. One last thought, every since I got my new Yaqi, I haven't been able to bring myself to use another brush, maybe tomorrow I will break out my Fendrihan tuxudoknot out to play, and give the badger a break.

Just started cold water shaving. The shaves have been excellent; a definite improvement. I do, however, find myself continually reaching for the hot water lever. I hope this behavior stops soon.

 

Keep it up, new muscle memory will kick in soon! . Cold water shaving has made all the difference in the world for me.
