With two shaves with the New SC under my belt it seemed appropriate to compare the shave with my New Improved. I may be in the minority but I prefer the New Improved from every perspective. From the handling perspective, the NI is perfectly balanced, whereas the standard bar handle NSC is extremely head heavy. Not only do I find the NI smoother, it also does a better job ATG on my crown stubble. If as the blade rigidity obsessives claim there is a rigidity advantage to the NSC it's not apparent to me. Great shave. AOS Sandalwood, fresh Nacet.
