This is one i am trying to restore to gift to my barber, she uses a straight with a replacable blade right now and she freaks me out when changing blades. I have been working it on my stones and one side spine looks good but the other side has a serious smile and the heel of the bevel is not grinding. Should i just keep working it or will i damage it? Thanks for any help

The pics you provided don't given us any info about the blade. Open the razor, then take the pics. That way we will be able to give you some opinion about its condition.

So far i have ran this razor over a bit of a coarse stone then went to a 1000 grit. I am thinking of taping the edge and working the spine a bit more to get it straight then try honing it for bevel
