The most painful; shaving video I ever saw was a guy doing Williams soap and saying, about halfway through it, words to the effect, "I'm not getting a good shave with this".
Are they on water restrictions where he lives or something? Pretty sure I could replicate those results with kindergarten paste.
March 10 Cold water WTG, XTG ATT S1 Astra SP (2) SOC boar B&M Soap Thayers Witch Hazel B&M Reserve AS Good morning all! Feeling a little cocky this morning about my last few shaves so I decided to have a go with 1 days growth. Went so well this morning I did three passes with touch up. Near BBS. Very mild sting from the alum on my neck. Another nice shave. Light touch and shallow angle. Almost made it through the entire shave without instinctively reaching for the hot water tap to rinse my razor. At least this time I caught myself before actually turning it on. Good weekend to you all! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
March 10 SOTD: Razor: Razorock Mamba Blade: Sputnik Brush: Dogwood Handcrafts Aurora Lather: Stirling Agar Aftershave: Stirling Agar Additional Care: Stirling Unscented PSB After a morning of moving a fairly large pile of dirt for my wife this morning, I was a little too tired to get the shavette out. I actually almost didn't shave, but I got this brush yesterday and wanted to give it a try. The 30 mm Tuxedo knot can load some soap. To me, this is the best looking brush I have, with the exception of the 30DC LE Brush. Definitely a nice shave this morning.
Thanks Clint! I was switching up razors with every shave, sticking with one is making a difference. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
50 posts later and here I am . Congratulations Neal on finding a place. Adam , hope you're on the mend . Some great pics as usual ,and great progress with some of our new guys . My shavette progress is coming along great. Some days you hit it out of the park and on others you just have to settle for a bunt. Hope you are all having a great day!
March 10 Parker SRX shavette Astra SP (1) Simpson Chubby 2 Super MdC Alum, Thayers Lavender witch hazel, and unrefined shea butter This is my third daily shave in a row (I completed a two-pass shave on day 2 of a Feather blade yesterday), so I opted for one WTG pass and a few touch ups. I still have a bit of CF Lavender shave cream, but I switched over to MdC yesterday for some welcome variety. I skipped the aftershave and cologne because I'm heading off to have some kid-related fun this afternoon. I had a great shave today, and the shavette now feels as normal in my hand as a DE. What I lack in closeness, I more than make up with my square jaw line and chiseled facial features. I also left enough layers of skin intact for an early-morning, one-pass Sunday shave. Our house showing a couple of days ago went well. Our prospective buyers are thinking about what they'd like to do. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend.
Beautiful brush...and 30mm is massive. Congrats on the acquisition! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
Congrats on the new brush, Jim! It's a looker, and I'm sure it is a Soap Destroyer, Aircraft Carrier Nimitz Class.
