Vision, to me, is clean laundry on the line, on a warm spring afternoon. It is a wonderful fresh scent, and I imagine lavender would only be great with it.
I'll be in that situation during my Colorado trip,-gone for 9 days, although I think I can get in a few comments from the hotel, as the adventure begins.
Just ask your wife to buy it as a present, then there is no violation for NB 19. Then again there is always NB '20.
Nah. She doesn’t make comments about my shave gear much at all. That might change if she knew I was planning $150 knots...
Ok. That's a lot of passes. Personally I wouldn't use a razor/blade combination that required that much. It's actually one of the reasons I sold my Gillette adjustables. Not just that I like aggressive razors, I also found other mild razors that were more efficient, particularly for my head shave. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Thank you, Jim! The Fine Lavender, as Clint mentioned, is really more of a peppermint scent over a base of lavender. So it certainly goes well with Vision. I’m anxious to try Vision with Stirling Glacial Spearmint as well, as I alluded to yesterday in The Stirling Exchange.
Thank you, Gentlemen. A simple, practical project that seems to have turned out ok. Just a few logistical things to work out- how to secure the thin lid in a Chuck etc. to tweak for next time.
March 10 Final day on this setup. The Fatip showed it's stuff with the Feather by once again bringing the baby home in two passes and touch up. No blood on any shave either. The alum? A little warm but not bad at all. I want to spend some serious time with the Oleo Soapworks in the future. Really nice lathers that have caught my attention. Losing an hour tonight so party hard and fast on a Saturday! Sent from my Z899VL using Tapatalk
Church charity auctions are a little different here than they were in California. I was high bidder in this baby.
Oh gosh, what a week. I have managed to keep mostly caught up, you’ve all been my falling asleep reading, or even the occasional check in on my phone escape when I just need to shut down for a bit. It has been a fun month, and I thank you all for the banter. -The General -Deruitem Shaving w/22 mm TGN Finest -Stirling Port au Prince The original General is basically the SE that ruined all other SE razors for me. I have kicked myself for not buying a brass one when they were available, so when the SS came out, I had to jump. This is simply a really nice razor. Nearly three times the weight of the aluminum, it has a really nice heft to it, which I tend to prefer. They shifted away from the cannon barrel style handle. The new one is a slimmer bulldog, with a nicely pronounced knurl. Personally I wish they would have just done some creative tooling to the cannon barrel, but all in all it works great. It is really a fantastic razor, easily the best combination of efficient and smooth that I have ever used in an AC style SE.
