Uhm, off the top of my head, I think it's four soaps, five creams and one balm:
Soaps: Gold Dachs Sandalwood, TSD Sandalwood, Fendrihan Lavender & Sandalwood (sample), and B&M Latha Sandalwood (sample)
Creams: Simpsons Sandalwood, TOBS Sandalwood, TOBS Mr. Taylor, Salter's Indian Sandalwood (sample), and Trumper's Sandalwood (sample)
Balm: TSD Milk Aftershave Sandalwood
Soaps: The Gold Dachs is a hard-milled European soap. It has a good, strong, woody sandalwood scent. Excellent performance. Probably the best "pure" strong sandalwood scent of all the ones I have tried.
The TSD soap and milk aftershave are both very straightforward sandalwood scents -- they have sandalwood fragrance oil or essential oil in them and nothing else. The soap is a lanolin soap that lathers easily, provides good shave performance and has a nice postshave feel as you would expect from one with lanolin in it. And the balm is made from good ingredients and works very well. And the prices are good. Solid choices all around.
The Fendrihan sample I haven't tried yet. The scent is a pleasant lavender and sandalwood mix. I believe the soap itself is a European-made vegan concoction. Probably performs quite well.
The B&M Latha Sandalwood is their latha line, which seems to perform reasonably well for me but isn't my favourite soap in that sense. The scent ... is actually a sandalwood with currant and maybe other stuff mixed in so it has a sweet fruity smell that isn't at all what one expects from a sandalwood. Not one I would buy for either scent or shave performance.
Creams: The Simpsons Sandalwood I rather regret buying. The Simpsons creams all perform very well, but the scent of this one just seems somehow lifeless and lacklustre to me. Like it was made from old, tired sandalwood or something.
TOBS Sandalwood I like. I don't think it's a pure sandalwood as it smells a bit sweeter than, for example, the TSD Sandalwood. However, the predominant scent that comes forward for me is wood.
TOBS Mr. Taylor's isn't billed as a sandalwood at all but is a mix of various spices that includes sandalwood. Very pleasant scent. And both TOBS creams perform excellently for me.
Salter's Indian Sandalwood is a spicy and citrusy sandalwood. It's sandalwood with things like citronella mixed in. If you want a pure sandalwood, this isn't the one you will want. The cream performs well. Personally I prefer both the TOBS creams and the Trumper's Sandalwood to this one though. I wouldn't get a full tub of it.
The Trumper's Sandalwood is again a pure sandalwood with a straightforward and strong woody smell. I have only used the cream once, today, but it lathered easily for me and gave great performance.
Overall, if I was going out to buy a sandalwood today, I would probably rank my choices in order as Gold Dachs Sandelholz soap, TOBS Sandalwood cream, TSD Sandalwood soap, and Trumper's Sandalwood cream, with TOBS Mr. Taylor's also purchased as a non-pure sandalwood but still great scent.
