Congrats on a great shave! I'm glad the Tabac is working better for you. As a long time cart user, the pressure is something that I still wrestle with occasionally - and I've been at this about a year. Old habits are hard to break.

March 15, 2018 Wolfman Ti OC (0.74mm) with Hempel Ti Feather Wild West Brushworks with 30mm Tuxedo AOS Pepppermint Another great shave this morning. I really like the cooling effect of the peppermint cream. The big WWB Tuxedo has no trouble making a mountain of lather. Three passes ended in a smooth drama free near perfect shave. A splash of Fine Lavender kept the peppermint theme going. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Thursday March 15 Gillette Fatboy on 4 / Lord Super Chrome (1) Simpsons CH2 Synthetic brush The Dry Dock shave bowl Trumper Sandalwood cream Alum and TSD Milk Aftershave Sandalwood I wanted to make sure that my different opinion of the Lord Super Stainless and Super Chrome blades wasn't due to my changing over from the Fatboy to the Rockwell 6s. So this morning I went back to the Fatboy, loaded with a fresh Super Chrome. The shave was fine. The difference was the blades, not the razor. I don’t like the Lord Super Chrome enough to go out and buy a 100-pack of them, but I am certainly willing to use up this tuck. Unlike my remaining Super Stainless which are all going straight into the blade bank. As another change today, I whipped up my Trumper lather with the Chubby instead of my Semogue Tuxedo. Lots of excellent lather with little effort. Another great shave today.
Thank you, John! Great looking shave, John! I definitely enjoy the CH2; I'll have to break mine out this weekend.
March 15 Parker SRX shavette Astra SP (2) Simpson Chubby 2 Super MdC Alum, Thayers, Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, Fine L'Orange Noir, and Terre d’Hermès Parfum One WTG pass on the cheeks and neck and touch-ups around my mouth and chin yielded a close, comfortable shave. My Bride and I plan to enjoy the sun and 60 deg F temps today. Have a great Thursday!
But for a chin weeper, I had a real nice shave today. My one "issue" was in not giving enough time for the tap water from the sink to warm up, thus I suppose I qualiefied for the "Fellowship of Cold-Water Shave" group, but things got more normal as the shave progressed. I bet the weeper came as result of the cold water, thus throwing me off stride. Interestingly I noticed some "green" at the bottom of the Stoylin soap puck already. But there's enough soap on all sides to be able to keep it around for a long time.
Hey Charlie, would you mind flippin that 60 my way so it can help me get the snow off the rest of my car?. Not at my best "shovel" strength today, as you know, but I do need to get out on the road for a couple errands.
