    Brush: Razorock BC Plissoft
    Soap: Grooming Dept Chypre Conifere
    Post: Stirling Ozark Mountain Balm

Very smooth shave with no problems. Love the woodsy scent of this soap, and like all GD soap formulas the performance is great, although I think I prefer the Mallard base a bit more. Finished off with Ozark Mountain balm, the 2 scents paired well together.

    Razor: Gillette Ball End Tech
    Blade: Lord Platinum (1st shave)
    Brush: Maggard 24mm synthetic
    Soap: Razormaster Tovio
Post: Peach Thayer's WH, Reef Point Aviator balm

Had a decent shave yesterday. Can't remember which Razormaster soap this is, but is smells like pine tar so I'm assuming it's Tovio from the description. Whipped up a lather quickly, and has a sureprisingly short ingredient list but performed quite well. Finished off with Aviator balm. Drama free shave. Hope everyone else had a great shave!

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #268 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gillette 195 Fatboy Razor on 7 using an Astra SP blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Hard to believe that a $3.00 tub of soap can perform so well. Easily out-performs some of the higher priced soaps in my stash. Whips up tons of creamy, slick, cushioned lather in no time. Just a hint of a clean lemon scent. Great post shave feel.

    Today's shave
Hot water wash with a washcloth
    Oscar11/omega boar
    Truefitt&Hill 1805
    Above the Tie Calypso (R1)
    Persona lab (4)
    Omega alum
    Colors aftershave balm
    Colors cologne
Today's shave was nice. Meeting this afternoon, wife said don't look bummy (like I ever do, right?). But, I bowl lathered T&H 1805, used my Oscar11. It made top shelf lather with cushion and glide, great afterfeel. Yesterday's very aggressive razor called for a milder but efficient ATT R1. Three passes left me supremely smooth and ahhh comfy. An alum rub was righteously quiet. Finished with a (last use, it's all spent) of Colors por homme aftershave balm, followed by a spritz of the matching cologne. (Not quite as nice as 1805, but I've used it for years, with countless compliments). I'm ready.
Hope y'all did as well, or better. 20180316_105540_resized.jpg

Smooth as silk 2 pass, WTG/ATG with XTG clean up. This thing shaves as smooth as my Personna Floating Head razor. I can`t tell which one I like better. The thing is that good, smooth, clean, close, no red dots on my Kleenex and absolutely no irritation anywhere. Happy Camper! May God go with each of you.

This was a good razor/blade combo to remove three days of growth. Two passes with a hint of touch up for an excellent BBS shave.

Stealth Slant clone (marketed by Manly Stuff in Ireland), fresh BIC, AOS Sandalwood. A mild but effective shaver. Weight and bulk of the head doesn't bother me as much as the differential aggression which had one side a bit too mild and effective angle too narrow. Ultimately though a two pass BBS at least as as close as the Maggard. A sharp blade definitely called for.[IMG]

    Saturday's Planned Shave:

    same as today, except:

    brush-Jayaruh#59

With the Rte 66 soap being history, I now must figure on"4 straight days with soap, 3 with cream/foam". It worked with the Stoylin Barbershop soap/Clubman duo. I think it can with the others, too.
